The School
Royal Academy is an English Medium Senior Secondary School run by ‘Dr. Rajani Kanta Doloi Memorial Trust’.
Royal Academy is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi (Affiliation No.-WB337/2017) and the classes range from Nursery to XII. Either Bengali or Hindi is compulsory from Class-I to X as a second language. A third language is compulsory from Class-V to VIII. Science, Commerce and Humanities streams are offered in ISC (XI & XII).
The School was established in the year 2004 by Late Dr. Rajani Kanta Doloi, former M.L.A., eminent educationist and a renowned social worker.
The school has three separate buildings (Radhakrishnan Bhavan, Ambedkar Bhavan and Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Bhavan), a playground, children’s park, experienced, qualified and convent educated teachers, cutting edge Science and Computer Laboratories, kids playground, well stacked library and auditorium. The school emphasizes on extra-curricular activities (dance, music, sports, debate, extempore, recitation, drama etc.) and various competitive examinations. There are special classes for elocution and competitive examinations in school routine.

Mission
The mission of Royal Academy is to provide each student a diverse education in a safe and supportive environment that promotes sound values, self-discipline, motivation and excellence in learning. The school joins with the parents and the community to assist the students in developing skills to become independent and self-sufficient adults who will succeed and contribute responsibly in a global community. The core values of the school are; Pride in one’s culture, integrity, sensitivity and pursuit of excellence, which are integrated through extra-curricular activities, sports and academic curriculum.
