HIGHLY QUALIFIED, EXPERIENCED AND CARING FACULTY

The school has a pool of highly qualified, experienced, energetic, hardworking and dedicated teachers who are so affectionate to the students that they do not feel away from home. Teachers have got teachers’ education degree and they attend teachers’ training programs, workshops and seminars to keep abreast of latest teaching techniques and methodology.

CUTTING EDGE SCIENCE LABORATORIES

Keeping in tune with modern times Royal Academy ensures that practical knowledge is placed on an equal footing with theoretical knowledge for the all-round development of the students. For this purpose, the school has Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Laboratories which provide in depth knowledge to its pupils. The student-friendly atmosphere in these laboratories helps to enrich the overall personality of the students through motivation and reinforcement.

COMPUTER EDUCATION

To keep pace with the advancement in the field of information technology, the School has made provision for computer education form Class-I onwards. There is one exclusively equipped computer laboratory run under able computer personnel. Apart from this Audio- Visual teaching facility using multimedia projector is available for the students.

INTERACTIVE SMART BOARD

The school is equipped with modern technological teaching aids like computers, projectors and smart boards. Use of cutting-edge technology helps to make the teaching lessons more interesting.

WELL STACKED LIBRARY

The school has its own library having books on various subjects, study materials and other periodicals for the students. Students are kept abreast with the latest developments through exhaustive volumes of leading journals and periodicals, both national and international. There is one state – of- the – art library room where students can study during library period or any off- period.

KIDS’ PLAY ROOM

By providing opportunities in a warm and loving environment for each child to engage in various forms of high quality play the school aims to develop each child physically, cognitively, linguistically, emotionally and socially and to nature his / her natural intelligence, creativity and talents to the fullest. The Kids’ Play Room consists of various indoor play equipments for the kids namely, indoor swing, plastic see saw, plastic slide, toy car, basket ball stand and various toys.

CHILDREN’S PARK

A Children’s Park is situated inside the school campus where students spend their leisure time in the open and fresh air. The park has several play items for the students to play with and enjoy. There are swings, slides, see saw and many other such items that provide for children their much required exercise, enjoyment and refreshment away from their busy schedule of school.

GAMES AND SPORTS

Once upon a time games and sports were looked upon merely as a “period of break” to extend the muscles, and to give a time of rest to the students. But today its value has been mostly recognized, and is considered as an integral part of school curriculum. The school provides various outdoor games namely, cricket, football, kho-kho, volley ball, badminton, kabadi etc. Besides many indoor games like Chess, Table Tennis, Carom etc. are also provided.

HEALTH AND MEDICAL CARE

The school has provision for periodic medical check-up facility by registered medical practitioner. There is one Sick Room in school.

AUDIO-VISUAL TEACHING

The school has adopted extensive use of audio-visual aids by incorporating them in day to day teaching process. We believe that visual learning has a greater understanding and impact on the growing minds of the students. Also the lessons become more interesting if they are taught differently rather than the usual text book teaching.

PARENTS-TEACHERS MEETING

To maintain a good relation between teachers and guardians, aiming for the betterment of the students, the Parents-Teachers Association has been formed. These meetings are conducted after publication of the result of every examination / test to brief the parents / guardians with the result of their wards, inviting simultaneously their suggestions for the students’ better performance and better adjustment to the surrounding.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Extra-curricular activities are not of paramount importance in the development of a whole personality. Interpersonal relational skills, confidence, poise and reliability are some of the qualities developed through these. Hence such activities are essential part of the school programme. Apart from SUPW and Community Service activities the school provides some other activities viz. Literary Activities, Scientific Activities, Cultural Activities and Adventure Activities to the students. The students of Class-VI to XII are required to select at least one activity from the list.
